Amergence Subsidiary Candidate -- Altitude Organic Licensing Corp. -- Signs Up Another Medical Marijuana Dispensary

Amergence Spin-Off Subsidiary Candidate Is Off to a Great Start

PHOENIX, AZ and DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - August 10, 2010) - The Amergence Group (PINKSHEETS: AMNG), a company that focuses on the development, nurturing, and rapid expansion of selected emerging or disruptive companies across a wide range of industries and disciplines, announced today that its newest spin-off subsidiary candidate, Altitude Organic Licensing Corp. (AO), has signed up another affiliate dispensary under its licensing banner. Altitude Organic Medicine located at 2250 S. Oneida St. in Denver has joined AO Licensing Corp. and has begun receiving branding, consulting, marketing, public awareness, and dispensary operation strategies so the retail firm can focus on what it does best -- sales, growth, and managing their day-to-day business.

AO Licensing Corp. acts as a parent trademark licensing and consulting company for independently owned and operated dispensaries throughout the US. Until AO Licensing came along, independent dispensary owners had to invent their own "roadmap" in guiding them toward success in a brand new industry that is growing and changing very rapidly. The corporate structure keeps retailers focused entirely on building a successful medical marijuana business template for member Altitude Organicâ„¢ dispensaries. Amergence anticipates the medical marijuana market segment -- already a multi-billion dollar industry in the US -- will grow at a faster pace than even casino gaming did here during the 1990s.

Medical marijuana is now legal in 14 states and the District of Columbia. A New York Times article June 25th 2010 titled, "When Cannabis Meets Capitalism," (http://www.nytimes.com/2010/06/27/business/27pot.html) stated the Colorado Medical Marijuana patient registry is still adding 1000 names per day, netting the state over $90,000 per day in revenue.

In furtherance of its innovative business model, called "Dividend Farming," (http://finance.yahoo.com/news/The-Amergence-Group-Announces-iw-278743350...) The Amergence Group (www.amergencegroup.com) will receive shares in this newly created subsidiary. In accordance with its unique "dividend farming" concept, it will then share the subsidiary's equity with its individual shareholders in the form of a dividend.

Now with management expertise and offices around the globe, The Amergence Group is uniquely positioned to introduce bold, edgy, or disruptive businesses to the world as it spins each subsidiary out to become their own individual fully-reporting public companies.
