Altitude Organic Corporation's Medical Marijuana Division Enters Northern California Market
PHOENIX, Dec 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Altitude Organic Corporation (ERBB:OTC:PK), is pleased to announce that its medical marijuana management company continues building new relationships and charting new territory in the constantly evolving medical marijuana industry. The company has now identified an infused products manufacturer in California seeking management services. Division president, Brian Cook, completed a 3-week exploratory mission in California helping a major local caregiver network link up with some of the largest dispensaries in the entire industry. The caregiver network produces a number of unique infused products including new industry sensation, Caviar Gold™.
Major dispensaries in San Francisco, Oakland, Sacramento, Mendocino, San Jose, and Los Angeles have now begun carrying the premier medicinal products. Caviar Gold™ has recently been featured at one of Los Angeles best patient collectives, Figueroa Collective.

To date, California's non-profit medical marijuana industry remains largely unregulated by the state. Many businesses could benefit by implementing operating procedures practiced under the regulated standards already underway in Colorado. Altitude Organix Management has the ability to operate in all the medical marijuana markets acting as a branded service provider that can help streamline taxation of the industry. The company can help unify interstate medical marijuana operating standards and commercial production standards while creating distribution and branding alliances between legal medical marijuana operators.
Brian Cook noted, "Our field work in the "emerald triangle" over the last 2 years is beginning to payoff. We are continuing to build alliances and are creating a product portfolio that should lead to significantly increased valuations as long as legal regulation of cannabis moves ahead. As the new industry matures and evolves we are encountering a number of uncertainties that prevent a traditional "Point A, Point B, Point C" expansion of our company. To date, the current federal versus state laws have also prevented traditional investment into the medical marijuana industry. I believe our management company business model can be a solution for unifying operational standards and legal compliance for medical marijuana dispensaries and infused product manufacturers nationally. We have identified partners and potential clients in CA, CO, and AZ currently.
Despite facing a number of surprises and challenges our company continues to adapt and make adjustments as necessary. As a result, the company becomes stronger. As regulations increase, our experience has us poised to capitalize within our marketplace by unifying business operations between a number of medical marijuana providers.
Late last week, a group of state governors came out publicly backing a DEA reclassification of marijuana, which would finally allow medical use of the drug. (http://www.nytimes.com/2011/12/01/us/federal-marijuana-classification-sh...) . It's taking time to get the regulations and laws caught up with the dramatic shift in public opinion that has taken place. The public is now firmly supporting medical use of marijuana nationally. History tells us that legislatures typically begin to implement laws in support of the majority opinion. Altitude Organic Corporation will continue to forge ahead and adjust to changes that are occurring in the industry, while looking to monetize each of the "seeds" we are sowing in several medical marijuana states."
